Cornerstone
This summer 32 of our teenagers traveled to New Orleans on our youth mission trip. Many other teenagers served with Reality Ministries, TGE Workcrew and other service projects. Even though our summer is over our chance to serve has just begun! This fall we want to provide our teenagers with a chance to continue being the body of Christ as we serve others.
Our primary vessel for this service will be our Cornerstone ministry. This fall we will meet on Wednesday nights, worship together and discuss how we can serve others here in Durham. We will read Henri Nouwen’s In The Name of Jesus together and let his story inspire us to live lives serving others. Our service will include visiting nursing homes, work projects, teaming up with local missions and more!
Cornerstone meets Wednesdays from 7:30 - 9:00pm in the Corner Room.
